Weekend round up – SML and YAL
SOUTHERN MEN's LEAGUE
Ross ran an impressive 1500 and a fast 400 relay leg for a good afternoon's work. Following a slow first lap of 67, Ross hit the front and lead the final 1000m to win in 4:01. Pretty good stuff with a last 200 of 31 and the last 1000m at 3:55 pace. 30 minutes later he ran 51.5 for his relay leg.
Tim had an off day, dnfing in the 1500. Adam ran his debut 800, and I think he'd prefer to stick to longer distances in the future. I filled a gap in the 800 b-string. My third run since Portugal resulted in a 2:14 clocking, 20 seconds outside my pb and my slowest since I was an U15! Those stats didn't stop me spending the next 30minutes bent over being sick on the field next to to the track!
