Help needed on Tuesdays

parkrun Saturday

Endurance Training Day
An Endurance Training Day is being held at St Mary’s on Sunday 21st February. This day is open to U15s through to Seniors who have represented their county in the last year. If you are interested in coming please let Noel know.

Tuesday 2nd – Session at track for all, 18:30
Thursday 4th – Session at Twickenham Green for performance group, 18:00
Saturday 6th – Inter County Schools, Hillingdon Mini Marathon, Hounslow Mini Marathon or session in Richmond Park at 09:45
Tuesday 9th – Session at track for everyone, easy run and strides from track or home for those racing on Thursday
Thursday 11th – Middlesex Schools Championships

Sussex Squad Day – Kenyan Training notes
Noel was talking briefly to coaches about Kenyan training camps at a Sussex Squad day on Sunday. A car load of the older athletes made the trip down and had a good session followed by an informative talk on nutrition.

Bushy parkrun SMRAC attack
We made our usual pre-Christmas outing to Bushy Park for the 5k parkrun event. Older athletes ran at a good solid tempo pace, younger athletes used it as a longer run, and much older athletes were just happy to get round. A long warm down made it a good workout for many of those involved.
