BMC PB Classic – Milfield School

Jack and Bradley were on fire with two performances they thoroughly deserve. 8:46 and 8:47 put them right at the top of the UK rankings and well inside the English Schools National Standard. A great 1500 debut too for Jack’s sister Rebecca. Continue reading | 3 Comments

YAL 1 at Lee Valley

Wind and rain met athletes at the opening YAL of the season but that didn’t stop people producing some early season pbs and us winning all but one of the middle distance races we contested. More to come for sure on a calmer day! Continue reading

London Mini Marathon

Rebecca Killip won the Mini Marathon, building on a month of fantastic training. There were several other top 20 performances and it was encouraging to see those who had been stuck in Portugal put in pretty solid runs after two weeks of twice a day training – now for some speed! Squad Captains announced
Tom Daborn and Molly Riglin have been announced as the first ever SMRAC distance Squad Captains. They will be someone that younger athletes can turn to for advice and will assist team managers and coaches in putting teams together.
